The Lampstand Home

Before motherhood, my path looked very different. I completed medical school and later trained as a professional bridal makeup artist. But when God placed the desire for a family deeply within my heart, my priorities began to shift. After five long years of waiting, praying, weeping, and hoping, the Lord blessed us with our miracle baby—and my life changed forever.

I stepped away from the path toward residency and into the calling God was shaping for this season: to cultivate a home that reflects His peace, nurture our child with wisdom and gentleness, love my husband well, and faithfully steward the family He has entrusted to me.

Motherhood is the hardest work I have ever done—yes, even harder than medical school! It continually stretches, humbles, and sanctifies me, yet it has also filled my life with a joy and purpose I never knew existed.

Today, I homeschool our gifted little one through a gentle, play-based, faith-rooted approach. Our days are built around connection, curiosity, wonder, and peace rather than pressure. I love learning about early childhood development and thoughtfully blending what we know about how children grow with the timeless truth and wisdom of Scripture.

That is the heart behind The Lampstand Home—a place where faith meets family, gentle parenting remains biblically grounded, and the ordinary moments of homemaking become sacred opportunities to reflect God’s goodness.

My desire is to encourage women to live with greater purpose, peace, and presence. I believe our homes can become havens, our family rhythms can be life-giving, and even the quietest acts of faithfulness can shine like a lamp on a hill.
